Dad was never one for long conversations, especially about school, so the question felt odd. I glanced at him across the table and saw something in his eyes—something that wasn’t there before. Philadelphia dads Bryan and Stephen are proud parents to an adorable month-old son. The husbands became dads through surrogacy with the help of their IVF doc Allison Bloom at Main Line Fertility. While the due date was early March, their son was so excited to meet them, he arrived 5 weeks early.

I first realized my Dad was gay when I was around 7 or 8, and I have no recollection of him being with my Mom. Almost all his friends were gay as were most of his employees (those 2 groups pretty much being the same people).
